standard pattern all over again! i need a fucking holiday.

driving test on 4th september, hopefully can pass first time round. vroom vroom.

after that will be Class 2A, need to pass asap so can upgrade to bigger bike. vroom vroom.

more or less settled on the upgrade, it's going to be red and black with a very loud pipe. vroom vroom.

i guess jo's right, i AM a vehicle person. next would be helicopter/boat/aeroplane license. vroom vroom.

transformers was awesome, loved all the cars and transforming and shit. the mom is shit annoying though, every time she opened her mouth i felt like kicking her face. and megan fox was highly distracting. although i do regret looking at the very expensive red aprilia rs125 she was riding instead of looking at her.

apart from that, i felt that it wasn't as bad as the reviews made it out to be? quite hard to go wrong with hot girls and fast cars la. oh and i felt that they didn't do the motorcycle transformers justice, they were hardly featured and they transformed into super pansy robots! after the movie i was half expecting my bike to suddenly transform into something but it didn't. disappointing. overall, it was a kickass show.

...MOST IMPORTANTLY

happy birthday stellidudd!

give me your wallet

Over the past few weeks, I've heard rumours that there are two serial queue-cutters in my workplace. During lunch today, I had an exciting encounter with one of them.

The queue-cutter is a bespectacled aunty, probably in her early 50s. She appears to be the sort of person that would fight tooth and nail for a discount at a $1 shop. She has probably watched too many korean dramas as well. And she is some queue-cutting genius.

Here's what happened:

My colleagues and I were in the queue ahead of her. She walks towards the stall and eyeballs us, sizing us up I suppose. Once she assured herself that she could makan us, she proceeds to join the queue behind my colleagues. So the queue-cutting aunty was right at the back of the line, followed by two of my colleagues, myself, and a few other people in front of me.

Suddenly, my colleague feels a nudge from behind. He turns back and notices the aunty, trying to look into the stall to see what items were left. He ignores the nudge. Then it happened again! So he turned back to find out what the aunty wanted (I suspect he wanted to punch the aunty though), and the instant there was a small gap between him and the railing, she slipped through and cut his queue.

He decided to be gentlemanly about it and gave the aunty the benefit of the doubt - maybe she really just wanted to take a closer look at the food. Even though it was half an arm's length away.

The aunty continues to stare hard into the stall, as if she's trying to burn it down with some heat ray from her eyes like superman. Seeing this, he asks my other colleague to give way to the aunty so she could take a better look. Little did he know that once the queueueue-cutter had cutted his queueue, she began nudging my other colleague in a similar manner as she did previously. Again, the moment there was a tiny gap between my colleague and the railing, she slipped through.

It was only then that they had realised what had happened. She wasn't trying to burn the store down with her evil heat rays! She had cut their queue! They expected her to return to her rightful place in the line but she remained there...and started nudging me.

By this time, I was quietly laughing. She kept on nudging me, but I didn't give her any room. Her nudges began to feel more like shoves but I refused to budge. Everyone else in the line was staring. There was one more person in front of me and once he had finished ordering, the nice aunty at the stall was ready to take my order.

"Yes hello, what you want?"

Before the queue-cutter could even mouth her order, I started to place mine. And she let out a vicious, venomous "Tsk" and stared at me angrily. I burst out laughing and the nice aunty at the stall laughed too.

"That one really gila lah, got two of them summore."

I had defeated the queue-cutter.

I am the man.

Why I HATE the rain.

It makes getting out of bed the most difficult thing to do, thereby making me late for work.

It makes me wet. (I can't find a better way to phrase this)

It makes my bike wet.

It makes my bike dirty.

It tends to rain just after I spend 3 hours on a thorough wash+wax, wasting both my time and wax

It makes the roads wet and slippery.

It makes my tires wet.

It makes my brakes wet.

It makes it very dangerous to be on the road, meaning a slower trip which results in me reaching the office even later.

I blame the current weather on James Morrison and his new song about not stopping the rain. I hope that it rains on him all day everyday for the rest of his life. Fool.

I think my ipod nano is amazing. I was at the void deck having a wash+wax with my ipod plugged in. Then my mom appears out of nowhere and mumbles something excitedly (much like how I tend to mumble). She then reaches for my clean, gleaming, good-enough-to-eat fuel tank with her dirty motherly fingers and before I could stop her, she puts her dirty motherly palmprint on my tank.

At this point I let out a "NOOOO!" and lunged forward to prevent her from doing any further motherly damage. (I suspect that she did it on purpose.) In attempting to stop her, my earphones caught onto something and my ipod slipped out and landed in my pail of soapy water.

AND IT STILL WORKS. lovely.

My ipod > mrt track
My ipod > soapy water
My ipod > your ipod.
